Who We Are
Team Stronger Than You Think (STYT) is a youth empowerment group supported by the Community Education Team at Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments (SAVE), a domestic violence organization in Fremont, CA.
Team STYT raises awareness about teen dating and relationship violence, promotes healthy relationships in our community, and advocates for a world and future without violence. Members learn about relationship harm, engage in community organizing and advocacy, and build positive and encouraging working peer relationships.
STYT's main event is Symbiosis, a free annual healthy relationship summit for youth hosted in the Spring of every cohort year. STYT's additional projects are dependent on the interests of the team members, and they can range from hosting workshops and events, creating artwork and educational material, or recording a podcast or short film. STYT also provides feedback and consultation for SAVE's prevention education presentations.
