The high school series of the Prevention Education package dives deeper into the topics of Healthy Relationships and Teen Dating Violence and is designed for auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners. We offer two curriculum structures: traditional presentations and Community Learning Circles. The presentation curriculum is divided into three Nonviolence 101 courses and four Nonviolence 102 courses. Students will develop skills related to embodying consent, building healthy relationships, supporting survivors of dating violence, and more. The Community Learning Circle curriculum is divided into two distinct sections, one Community Circle session and one Art Empowerment Workshop (AEW). Community Circles are trauma-informed, empowerment-centered spaces where students learn about violence prevention and healthy relationship skills through group discussion and interactive activities. Art Empowerment Workshops (AEWs) are strengths-based, trauma-informed workshops that teach a specific social-emotional learning or healthy relationship skill using the arts.
